The mystery dress that was reportedly worn by the late singer Madonna at the Super Bowl is in fact a hoax.
The dress was created by a fake Facebook group and sold on the web site of the designer.
The dress is a $500 dress, not a $1,500 dress.
It’s a fake dress.
The design, designed by the designer of the dress, was not intended to be sold or given away.
“I had a couple of friends who asked me, ‘What is the dress?'” said designer Jonathan Zegers, a longtime friend of Madonna’s.
Zegars dress is made of faux fur.
The designer said the dress was sold on a website that’s for sale on Etsy, an online marketplace for handmade goods.
Zegers said he made a mockup of the fake dress that would be worn by Madonna and other celebrities at the 2013 Super Bowl and posted it to the Etsy site.
He said Madonna wore it at the halftime show and she told him she had to go home and change.
“She was like, ‘I can’t wear it,’ and I was like ‘OK, I guess I’m gonna go back to the store and get a dress,'” ZegERS said.
“She was the one that made it.”
He said he has no way of knowing who made the dress and he did not get a refund.
“The dress was just something that was created for a certain person, and then someone else made it and put it on the internet,” he said.
